US photographer Spencer Tunick from New York is famous for his images of nudes in urban landscapes or in the nature. Installations of naked human bodies he started to photograph 1992 in the streets of New York. Since then he did 65 installations worldwide.
He was already working several times in Switzerland. Recently he did an installation on the Aletschgletscher (Glacier of Aletsch) in the Swiss Alps, in cooperation with Greenpeace. It is the artist’s statement against global warming.
As I live in Switzerland I wanted to share this cool video with you. Enjoy!
The great music in the video is from the Swiss duo stimmhorn. They work with traditional swiss instruments like the alpenhorn and do a great modern sound that can’t be categorized. Check them out!
